Grating clip for typhoon resistant fixed hook

At present, the fixation of steel grating for offshore wind power usually includes：Threaded studs&clip、”L” hook &clip and  bolt&clip .There are currently issues：

1,Threaded studs&clip

A. The installation is complex, difficult for construction personnel to master, and the rate of unqualified repairs is high；

B. The fixed form of shooting nails has low load-bearing capacity and is prone to breakage；

C. Not convenient for offshore maintenance

2,”L” hook &clip and  bolt&clip  

A.Unilateral force, when the fixed hook is subjected to force, it turns towards the direction of the screw, which cannot fully fix the grille and poses a risk of loosening and falling off;

B.The M-shaped saddle clip is usually 2.5mm thick, and the waves caused by typhoons will bend the upper clip, causing it to lose its fixing effect.

3，bolt&clip  

A. The bolts need to be welded to the steel beams, which is inconvenient to construct and requires further anti-corrosion work;

B. The solder joints are small with limited strength, and the accompanying M-clips also have the risk of being overturned and broken by waves.

In response to these issues, we have improved the current L-shaped fixed hook installation clip and launched a U-shaped fixed hook installation clip, which has the following advantages:

1. Both sides are evenly stressed, and the fixing hook will not turn to one side

2. Thickened upper clamp, bent with 5mm steel plate, with higher strength and no fear of wave impact

3. Compared with the disc nail installation clip and the welded bolt saddle clip, it is easy to install and has low cost;

Compared with the L-shaped fixed hook installation clip, although the unit price is higher, it can fix two steel grating plates with one set of installation clips, and the overall cost is equivalent.
